If your pet is travelling on the same flight as you, we can assist with the import process at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Thailand Import Permit Assistance

THB 1,500 per pet

This service includes assistance with obtaining the required Thailand Import Permit before your arrival.

Owners who prefer to handle the process themselves may also complete the import procedures through self-clearance.

Typical Arrival Timeline

After your flight lands:

• Passenger luggage: approximately 40 minutes

• Pet release from the baggage area: approximately 50 minutes

Actual processing times may vary depending on the airline, airport operations, and arrival schedule.

Air Cargo Customs Clearance (Pet Travelling Without the Owner)

If your pet arrives as air cargo, Bangkok Pet Taxi can arrange complete customs clearance through our experienced import team.

Flat Rate

THB 12,000 per pet

The same rate applies to all pet sizes.

Self-Clearance Option

Owners may also choose to complete customs clearance themselves.

Please note that self-clearance requires visiting multiple airport offices, customs counters, cargo facilities, and government departments. While the process is manageable, using an experienced clearance agent is generally faster and more convenient.

Payment Policy

Full payment (100%) is required before customs clearance processing begins.

This allows us to arrange permits, government documentation, airport coordination, and clearance services in advance, ensuring a smooth and efficient import process.
