Cargo Drop-off (Departure)

For departing pets, owners have two convenient drop-off options:

• Air Cargo Terminal – Deliver your pet directly to the airline cargo facility.

• Cargo Agent Office – Deliver your pet to your appointed cargo agent in the Suvarnabhumi Airport area, where the agent will complete the cargo acceptance process.

Both options are commonly used, depending on your airline and cargo agent's requirements.

Cargo Pickup (Arrival)

When your pet arrives as air cargo, you may choose either self-clearance or use a customs clearance agent.

Self-Clearance

Estimated processing time: 4–8 hours

The process is not difficult, but it can be time-consuming. You will need to visit several government offices, cargo facilities, customs checkpoints, and payment counters located in different buildings around the airport.

If this is your first time importing a pet, please allow sufficient time for the clearance process.

Customs Clearance Agent

Estimated processing time: 2–4 hours

Using an experienced customs clearance agent can significantly reduce waiting time and simplify the import process. The agent will coordinate with the relevant authorities and cargo terminal on your behalf.

Early Morning Cargo Arrivals

Pets arriving between 06:00 AM and 08:00 AM may experience longer processing times.

During these hours, government offices and cargo facilities are just beginning daily operations, so document processing and cargo release may take longer than usual.

We recommend allowing extra time if your pet lands during this period, especially for self-clearance.
