International Flight to Domestic Flight in Thailand

Many international travelers continue their journey with a domestic flight after arriving in Thailand. However, international and domestic pet travel rules are different.

A pet that is accepted on an international flight may not be accepted on a domestic flight within Thailand.

Domestic Flight Restrictions

Most domestic airlines in Thailand have stricter size limitations than international airlines.

In general:

• Only pets that fit comfortably in an S-size travel crate are accepted for domestic flights.

• Nok Air is one of the primary airlines offering domestic pet transportation services.

Larger pets usually cannot continue their journey by domestic flight, even if they arrived on an international flight.

Airport-to-Airport Transfer

If your international flight arrives at one Bangkok airport and your domestic flight departs from another, Bangkok Pet Taxi provides private airport transfers.
