Animal Quarantine

Bangkok Pet Taxi provides transportation and assistance for the Animal Quarantine (AQ) process at Suvarnabhumi Airport, required for pets departing Thailand on international flights.

Our experienced team can assist owners throughout the process or complete the procedure on your behalf, depending on your travel requirements.

Animal Quarantine Office Hours

Monday – Friday

• 09:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• 01:00 PM – 04:00 PM

Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and Thai public holidays.

Required Documents

Please prepare the following before your appointment:

• Pet vaccination book

• Microchip certificate or microchip information

• Pet photo

• Owner's passport

• Flight itinerary (if available)

• Destination country requirements (if applicable)

• Additional documents may be required depending on the destination country.

The government veterinarian will examine your pet before issuing the Health Certificate and Export Permit.

Processing Time

Typical processing times are:

• Veterinary examination: approximately 50–60 minutes

• Health Certificate & Export Permit: approximately 50–90 minutes

Please allow extra time during busy periods. After long weekends or Thai public holidays, the total process may take 6–8 hours due to high demand.

AQ Transport & Waiting Service

Owner Attending the Appointment

SUV (within 50 km): THB 2,600

This service includes:

• Pickup from your location

• Transport to Suvarnabhumi Animal Quarantine

• Driver waits until the entire AQ process is completed

• Return transportation to your home or hotel

Messenger Return Service

After your pet has completed the veterinary examination, you do not have to remain at the AQ office.

For an additional THB 1,000, our Messenger Service can collect the completed Health Certificate and Export Permit and deliver the original documents directly to your home, office, or hotel.

This option is recommended if:

• Your pet becomes excited or stressed by long waiting periods.

• You prefer to return home while the paperwork is being completed.

• You want to avoid waiting several additional hours for document processing.

Full AQ Service (No Owner Required)

If you are unable to attend the appointment, Bangkok Pet Taxi and our experienced AQ agents can complete the entire Animal Quarantine process on your behalf.

Service Fee: From THB 6,000

The service includes:

• Document review

• Transport of your pet

• Government veterinary examination

• Health Certificate

• Export Permit processing

• Coordination with AQ officers

• Return of your pet and documents (or delivery as arranged)
