Why Don't We Offer XXL & XXXL Plastic Crates?

Many customers ask why our crate guide goes from XL directly to Giant, without XXL or XXXL plastic crates.

The reason is simple: most XXL and XXXL plastic crates increase mainly in height rather than overall floor space. For many large dogs, the extra height provides little additional benefit if the length and width remain similar.

For air travel, airlines focus on whether your pet can:

• Stand naturally without touching the roof

• Turn around comfortably

• Lie down in a natural position

In many cases, the height of the crate is the most important measurement, while small increases in length or width may not significantly improve comfort.

This makes choosing the correct crate easier while covering the vast majority of dogs and cats.

What If My Pet Doesn't Fit a Giant Crate?

If your pet is too large for our Giant plastic crate, a custom wooden crate is usually the only suitable option for air cargo transportation.

A wooden crate can be built to match:

• Your pet's exact measurements

• Airline requirements

• IATA Live Animal Regulations

• The specific aircraft and route (where applicable)
